Hey! I would like to chime in to help the devs about the same or a similar crash problem of Clear that I started to encounter today, unfortunately.
I am running Win10, 64bit, build19041.330, REAPER v7.18 and Clear v1.1.0.
The problem I am going to describe did not occur until today (I installed a couple of free VSTs and Decent Sampler so I do not know if the problem is related to these installs somehow).
Upon opening a session that I last saved about a month ago REAPER crashed when trying to load the Clear VST3 instance in that project (the instance in that project is actually offline if that makes any difference).
In order to be able to open the project at all I opened it with the help of REAPER's "Open with FX offline (recovery mode)" feature and that did work.
After the session with the client today I now started to investigate the problem. I started by deleting Clear completely from my computer which obviously resulted in the project being able to load properly. I then reinstalled Clear and the problem returned. Then I started a new blank project, added a new empty track and loaded a Clear VST3 instance to the track, it works. If I now load the project that was crashing before it loads without crashing, no problem at all. So, to summarize: the crash can be avoided as long as Clear gets loaded in an empty new project once after starting REAPER, and then loading a project that contains instances of Clear. I hope that report helps the devs. If you need more information, please reach out. thanks!
Warm wishes,
Heiko

Yes, I have also experienced instabilities when running Clear on Reaper. Both on MacOS and Windows 10. Random crashes - not really a specific action I can link it to.
